The sun was shining on Halmstad and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Surrounded By Light found a gap and took the lead. Etobicoke followed before Regista Tonali.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

The leader got disturbed by something and Regista Tonali took the lead rather easily.

Regista Tonali was still in the lead after 1500m.

Regista Tonali were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Surrounded By Light won. Regista Tonali came in second. Etobicoke caught third place.
