The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Turku today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pampered Starlight tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Zweven Ter Roze that came steaming ahead.




Forceful Wave quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Forceful Wave clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Zweven Ter Roze accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Pampered Starlight started to gallop after 1500m and Tapio Perttunen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Forceful Wave took the lead.



With only a little left of the race Hot N Cool galoped for 50 m. Zweven Ter Roze speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Forceful Wave won. Zweven Ter Roze came in second. Pampered Starlight caught third place.
