It had been raining for several days at Biri but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Amber Starlight was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

Beżgħu took the lead after 1000m. Amber Starlight didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Amber Starlight accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Amber Starlight looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Amber Starlight kept the speed the whole finish and won before Merel De Blaeij and Beżgħu.
