Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Rättvik track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Piece D'or. Blixsten Captain ended up behind the leader. Capricorn Twin got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m. When the startcar left the field Thunder Star started to galop and lost 40 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Rugged Movement sprinted to the front. Capricorn Twin started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Walking Folder sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Les Équitable Choix accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Blixsten Captain took the lead. Born Bowler was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m.

Blixsten Captain sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Piece D'or made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Blixsten Captain.
