The weather had been good all week and Eskilstuna was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Hautbois could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

This is the positions after 500m. Bertinetti, Comfortable Folder, Colo Oxzygo, Gotta Go Home, Augustus Thornix, Boy Back Home, New York City, Strong Star.

Augustus Thornix took the lead after 1000m. Strong Star didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Boy Back Home was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Augustus Thornix was still in the lead after 1500m.

With only a little left of the race Boy Back Home galoped for 30 m. Augustus Thornix sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Per Linderoth tried a little too much on the homestretch and Like A Said started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Strong Star never caught up with Augustus Thornix who won. Sixth Sense Moussolou came third.
