The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Jägersro today. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Climbing Sniper sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Mercury Rebel saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Porteur De Joie took the lead after 1000m. Mercury Rebel didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Porteur De Joie was still in the lead after 1500m. Porteur De Joie looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Mercury Rebel won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
