The weather had been good all week and Kalmar was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Bold Pearl. Happy Piece ended up behind the leader. Limelight got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Limelight, Beauté, Bold Pearl, Lying Giggle, Happy Flower, Happy Piece, Witness In Heaven, Lucky Pony.




Bold Pearl took the lead after 1000m. Limelight didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Lying Giggle was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Limelight looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Lucky Pony was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Happy Flower suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






No-one could catch Happy Flower today who won before Happy Piece and Limelight.
