The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Checkmate Jazzy tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Lucky Ring that came steaming ahead. Ken Ecce wanted a little to much in the start and Monday Vixen galoped for 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Qwerty, Supernova C.C., Stepping Flower, Blossoming Thinker, Rudella, Checkmate Jazzy, Lucky Ring, Monday Vixen.

Qwerty clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Supernova C.C. galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Stepping Flower accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Stepping Flower were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Final standings. 1 Rudella, 2 Blossoming Thinker, 3 Stepping Flower.
