One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Green Mean Machine took the lead after a very quick start.




Golden Sunbeam saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Brilliance Lady sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Brilliance Lady followed by Summer Memory and Green Mean Machine. Lane two Golden Sunbeam followed by Paris Paris and Sunshine Tonight.



Brilliance Lady kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Brilliance Lady didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
