The sun was shining on Solvalla and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Back In Control could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Bold Closet was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.

Lanterna Law quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Absolutely Gorgeous took the lead after 1000m. Sophisticated Sparkle didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Absolutely Gorgeous was still in the lead after 1500m. Bold Closet started to gallop after 1500m and Mats E Djuse had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Sophisticated Sparkle speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Kaa Lore won the race after a spectacular finish.
