The weather had been good all week and Färjestad was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Running Cake could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Eclipse sprinted to the front.




Last Melody took the lead after 1000m. Energy Is All didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.



Falling Scout took the lead after 1000m. Geboren Mit Magie didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Göran E Johansson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Starshine Wind started to galopp and lost 30 m.




Last Melody won the race after a spectacular finish.
