The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Hummel Larockma took the lead after a very quick start. Backstreet Guy suddenly started to galop. Mikko Aho had to struggle to get Backstreet Guy to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Merry Go Round started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Little Cake looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Hummel Larockma couldn't come out from behind the leader, Wandering Giggle.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Hummel Larockma today. It continued in the lead.

Merry Go Round kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Merry Go Round kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Dreaming Thinking was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Turning Gold galop. Turning Gold lost 10 m. Stefan Persson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Shining Wave started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Backstreet Guy never caught up with Hummel Larockma who won. Merry Go Round came third.
