One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Walking

Dongé looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Real Good Time couldn't come out from behind the leader, Walking
Cruiser.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop Walking
Cruiser today. It continued in the lead.
Real Good Time suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
So Dope made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Real Good Time.
