One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fanchone could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Akseli Lahtinen wanted a little to much in the start and Mazura galoped for 10 m. When the startcar left the field Helmi started to galop and lost 30 m.




Polly By Sib was in fine shape and held the lead. Ir-reġina started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Farfalle was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Faith was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Liz showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Jean Baptiste today. It continued in the lead. Ir-reġina showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.



With only a little left of the race Fanchone galoped for 10 m. Jean Baptiste kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Jean Baptiste today who won before Farfalle and Fanchone.
