The sun was shining on Lahti and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Big Valbuena was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Clever Hero was still in the lead after 1500m.



Clever Hero kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Big Valbuena made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Clever Hero.
