Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Mariehamn track was in top-condition.



The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.





Helpful Striker found a gap and took the lead. Heavy Band followed before Confident Beard. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 10 m.




Helpful Striker was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Confident Beard accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Confident Beard was still in the lead after 2000m. Steel Hero was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m.



With only a little left of the race Heavy Band galoped for 30 m. Helpful Striker litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Aki Antti-Roiko tried a little too much on the homestretch and Confident Beard started to galopp and lost 10 m.




Heavy Band never caught up with Helpful Striker who won. Climbing Action came third.
