One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Glorious
Grove.
California Dreaming ended up behind the leader.
Kolbasz got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 30 m. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 10 m.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and
Kolbasz sprinted to the front. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m.
The leader got disturbed by something and
Solid
Box took the lead rather easily. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.
Nicestyler suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.
Glorious
Grove accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.
Glorious
Grove didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Unknown gallopped 10 m after 2000m.
Glorious
Grove sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Jaspe Javelot galoped for 60m and was disqualified.
