The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Sørlandet this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Renew The King could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Dandelion was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Joshua followed by Growing Fines and Renew The King. Lane two Compass Error followed by Dandelion and Dove Crown.




Joshua didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Compass Error looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Gentleman Map galopped for 50 m on the homestretch. tried a little too much on the homestretch and Gentleman Map started to galopp and lost 50 m. Gentleman Map was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Compass Error galop. Compass Error lost 40 m.




Growing Fines never caught up with Joshua who won. Renew The King came third.
