One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Close Stereo. Cincinatti ended up behind the leader. Giresse got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 50 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 20 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Giresse sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 20 m.

Hot Topic looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Admiral Sniper couldn't come out from behind the leader, Giresse. Close Stereo was disturbed and galoped 30 m. driver couldn't keep Cincinatti to trotting so they were disqualified.

Giresse was still in the lead after 1500m.

Cincinatti was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Cincinatti was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Giresse were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Roger N Olsson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Cincinatti started to galopp and lost 40 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Cincinatti galop. Cincinatti lost 50 m.

Close Stereo sprinted over the finishline before Hot Topic and Giresse.
