The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Umåker today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sliding Bandwith found a gap and took the lead. Rugged Crusher followed before Fast Body. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Fast Body, Rugged Crusher, Sliding Bandwith, Time Warner, Nytelse Stjernen, Miss Usa, Gentleman Printer, Passion Man. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Rugged Crusher looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sliding Bandwith couldn't come out from behind the leader, Fast Body. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Fast Body today. It continued in the lead. Time Warner galloped for 40 m.

With only a little left of the race Sliding Bandwith galoped for 50 m. Fast Body sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Gentleman Printer to trotting so they were disqualified.

Rugged Crusher sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
