The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Mantorp today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Falling Mind could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Heavy Lieutenant quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Falca looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Herrhagens Delap couldn't come out from behind the leader, Heavy Lieutenant. Strong Sword suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Falca saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Falling Mind galloped for 20 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Strong Sword gallopped for 30 m.



Falling Mind galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Heavy Lieutenant speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Heavy Lieutenant didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
