One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





New York City tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Big Rocker that came steaming ahead.




Poggio Climb quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Poggio Climb was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Poggio Climb today. It continued in the lead.




Big Rocker seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Big Rocker looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
