It had been raining for several days at Mantorp but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rainbow Saint sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Mothers Milk, Stopping Girl, Rainbow Saint, Counterfeit Feeling, Princess Dream, Brave Garden, In Flames, Whispering Lovebreaker.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Stopping Girl looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 50 m. Rainbow Saint galloped for 10 m. Famous Maid galloped for 20 m.



Counterfeit Feeling was first on the homestretch followed by Mothers Milk and Stopping Girl.

Counterfeit Feeling galopped for 50 m on the homestretch. Jorma Kontio tried a little too much on the homestretch and Whispering Lovebreaker started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Mothers Milk won the race after a spectacular finish.
