One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Athletic Vande Hynderweide found a gap and took the lead. Clever Platinum followed before Close Piece. Åke Svanstedt wanted a little to much in the start and Athletic Vande Hynderweide galoped for 20 m. Slow Fist was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Slow Fist, Go For Europe, Light Architecture, Toulouse, Athletic Vande Hynderweide, Nickulaus, Close Piece, Lightning Warrior.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Toulouse accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Toulouse sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Slow Fist galop. Slow Fist lost 20 m.




Toulouse didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
