One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Walking Protest tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Maximum Star that came steaming ahead. Maximum Star was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




Maximum Star was in fine shape and held the lead.




Juggernaut sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Juggernaut followed by Maximum Star and Jukebox. Lane two Headliner followed by Fair Sunflower and Walking Protest.



With only a little left of the race Bonnie Twist galoped for 10 m. Maximum Star litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Fair Sunflower sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
