One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Superiore Stato found a gap and took the lead. Chick Photographic followed before Falling Wave. Dominant Sniper was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Chick Photographic who started to galop and lost 10 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Chick Photographic accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Superiore Stato suddenly took over the lead.



Superiore Stato kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Falling Wave made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Superiore Stato.
