Only a humble breeze blew over Skellefteå this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Constancia found a gap and took the lead. Ed De Goeij followed before Stopping Runner. Blushing Maid suddenly started to galop. Akseli Lahtinen had to struggle to get Blushing Maid to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Constancia looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ed De Goeij couldn't come out from behind the leader, Stopping Runner.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Constancia today. It continued in the lead.



Constancia looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Stopping Runner to trotting so they were disqualified.




Ed De Goeij kept the speed the whole finish and won before Constancia and Elros.
