The weather had been good all week and Bjerke was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Composez Mon Numéro could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 50 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m. Sputnik Stanley started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Power Cruiser looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Chardonnay Blanc couldn't come out from behind the leader, Composez Mon Numéro.




Composez Mon Numéro was still in the lead after 1500m.



Composez Mon Numéro looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Rücken Zu Schürfen galop. Rücken Zu Schürfen lost 30 m. Power Cruiser galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Winner of todays race was Composez Mon Numéro. Chardonnay Blanc came in second. Sputnik Stanley became third.
