The weather had been good all week and Halmstad was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fair Madness took the lead after a very quick start. Aiglentina was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Sliding Pirate, Flying Squirrel, Silver Needle, Fair Madness, Aiglentina, Sergeant Bandwith, Brave Comet, Vejle Mille.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sliding Pirate followed by Silver Needle and Sergeant Bandwith. Lane two Aiglentina followed by Fair Madness and Flying Squirrel.



Aiglentina suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Silver Needle sprinted over the finishline before Aiglentina and Fair Madness.
