Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åmål track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Plumón El Río tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Esztergom Moot that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Villjuvasomdej sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Sergeant Beard who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Amour Vue sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Amour Vue followed by Lucido Leggero and Ojsan Ospelad. Lane two Esztergom Moot followed by Plumón El Río and Nimrod.




Amour Vue kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.




There was a new leader after 2500m, Esztergom Moot.



Villjuvasomdej was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Amour Vue suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Esztergom Moot won the race after a spectacular finish.
