One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Classy Survivor took the lead after a very quick start. Åke Svanstedt wanted a little to much in the start and Screaming Bandwith galoped for 20 m. When the startcar left the field Zowat Naar started to galop and lost 40 m. Tony Thompson showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

Screaming Bandwith quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Hard To Please started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Classy Survivor sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Classy Survivor followed by Advanced Moon and Fair Moon. Lane two Screaming Bandwith followed by Miranda Rexx and Dead Wave.

Classy Survivor didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Classy Survivor sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Screaming Bandwith sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
