One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Arielle tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Golden News that came steaming ahead.




Golden News was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Golden News started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Glittering Carneval who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Golden News clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Arielle suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Golden News was still in the lead after 1500m.



Golden News sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Golden News kept the speed the whole finish and won before Sorella Lavec and Impatient Thought.
