One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Kiwi Lore could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Chesnaught was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




Gentleman Folder quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Max Lizard was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Kiwi Lore sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Gentleman Folder galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.



With only a little left of the race Kiwi Lore galoped for 40 m. Strickly Business sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.






Chesnaught never caught up with Strickly Business who won. Experienced Scope came third.
