One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

John Muir Wilderness could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Tomas Pettersson wanted a little to much in the start and Helppo Voitto galoped for 40 m. When the startcar left the field Sergeant Bandwith started to galop and lost 50 m.

Eliaquim quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Sergeant Bandwith sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Experienced Night suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m. driver couldn't keep Eliaquim to trotting so they were disqualified.

Holy Lipstick accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Holy Lipstick kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Holy Lipstick kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Holy Lipstick didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
