The weather had been good all week and Romme was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Astaroth J could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Shooting Plan, Spiral Belle Cherry, Rainbow Sapphire, Desiderare Ballerino, Laudrup The Man, Hank The Man, Astaroth J, Deventer Opal.




Rainbow Sapphire sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Rainbow Sapphire was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Deventer Opal gallopped for 50 m.



Desiderare Ballerino was first on the homestretch followed by Rainbow Sapphire and Hank The Man.






Desiderare Ballerino kept the speed the whole finish and won before Hank The Man and Astaroth J.
