One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Speciale Ragazza found a gap and took the lead. Éclair Blanc followed before Athletic Universe. Howard showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




Polished Energy saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Athletic Universe sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Athletic Universe today. It continued in the lead.




Speciale Ragazza took the lead.



Speciale Ragazza kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Speciale Ragazza didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
