The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Bodø this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Margot. Avril ended up behind the leader. Tropical Orchid got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Bella Ragazza started to galop and lost 20 m.

Glittering Starlight quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Glittering Starlight clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Stretching Addiction looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Gertrude Germann Zed gallopped for 30 m.

Whipped Cream was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Stretching Addiction sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Avril won the race after a spectacular finish.
