It had been raining for several days at Kalmar but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Galway could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




Space Hero saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Galway started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Space Hero clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Galway accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Clever Wave was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Galway looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Comatose galopped for 20 m on the homestretch. Hard Bullet galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




King Of Dynamite sprinted over the finishline before Galway and Magnetic King.
