The sun was shining on Gävle and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gonzo Globe could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Ojsan Lapskojs, Handy Comet, Stifling Venus, Ojsan Joggar Bara, Aiglentine, Ojsan Ikappsprungen, Gonzo Globe, Yankee. A bird flew just in front of Troubling Madness who started to galop and lost 50 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Handy Comet took the lead rather easily.




Ojsan Lapskojs looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Ojsan Lapskojs sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Yankee won the race after a spectacular finish.
