One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Paris Cocktail tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Sagittarius that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Paris Cocktail started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Sagittarius was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sagittarius followed by Blushing Maid and Rational General. Lane two Paris Cocktail followed by Stopping Stereo and Steel Satellite.




Sagittarius kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Sagittarius kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Stopping Stereo to trotting so they were disqualified. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Steel Satellite galop. Steel Satellite lost 50 m.




Paris Cocktail never caught up with Sagittarius who won. Blushing Maid came third.
