One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Compagno. Max Lizard ended up behind the leader. Bonvoy got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Bonvoy started to galop and lost 20 m. Styxon Ciniferalis was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




Compagno was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Bonvoy took the lead after 1000m. Compagno didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Compagno looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Compagno kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Bonvoy made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Compagno.
