One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Glittering Beauty found a gap and took the lead. Lakeview followed before Ginger Cherry.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Slippery Legend sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Slippery Legend was still in the lead after 1500m.




Slippery Legend sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Ginger Cherry suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Slippery Legend never caught up with Ginger Cherry who won. Lakeview came third.
