Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kalmar track was in top-condition.



The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.





Vezzali tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Fighting Ship that came steaming ahead. Kim Eriksson wanted a little to much in the start and Vezzali galoped for 30 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Éclair Blanc, Fighting Ship, Vezzali, Long Leg Lisa, Experienced Platinum, Steel Satellite, , . Steel Satellite was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Fighting Ship looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Vezzali couldn't come out from behind the leader, Éclair Blanc.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Éclair Blanc followed by Vezzali and Long Leg Lisa. Lane two Fighting Ship followed by Experienced Platinum and Steel Satellite. Vezzali galloped for 40 m. Long Leg Lisa galloped for 50 m.




Éclair Blanc sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Long Leg Lisa galoped for 40 m. Éclair Blanc looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Experienced Platinum was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.




Winner of todays race was Éclair Blanc. Fighting Ship came in second. Vezzali became third.
