One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Climbing Frenzy sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Stopsign to trotting so they were disqualified.

Climbing Frenzy was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Jopie who started to galop and lost 10 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Climbing Frenzy was still in the lead after 1500m.

With only a little left of the race Jopie galoped for 50 m. Climbing Frenzy were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Look St won the race after a spectacular finish.
