The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Solvalla today. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Moravec tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Brunamonti that came steaming ahead. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Moravec sprinted to the front. Passionate Sunray took the lead after 1000m. Moravec didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Starstruck Ballerina galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m. Passionate Sunray was still in the lead after 1500m. Passionate Sunray sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Stefan Persson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Starstruck Ballerina started to galopp and lost 40 m. Brunamonti won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
