One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Which Wish tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Corky that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Corky who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Which Wish looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Dolf couldn't come out from behind the leader, Corky.

Corky sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Dolf galoped for 20 m. Corky looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Corky kept the speed the whole finish and won before Which Wish and Dolf.
