The weather had been good all week and Ylivieska was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ivory Sunray tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Megatron Magpie that came steaming ahead. Rugged Wolf suddenly started to galop. Seppo Markkula had to struggle to get Rugged Wolf to tror again and succeded after 20 m. When the startcar left the field Juulia started to galop and lost 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Coughing Gal, Pinkman, Bertinetti, Rugged Wolf, Gentleman Work, Juulia, Neuanfang C.C., Ivory Sunray.

Coughing Gal was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Neuanfang C.C. accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Ivory Sunray started to gallop after 1500m and Antti Tupamäki had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

With only a little left of the race Gentleman Work galoped for 20 m. Neuanfang C.C. sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Neuanfang C.C. galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Megatron Magpie won. Juulia came in second. Coughing Gal caught third place.
