One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Brillant Diamant sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Régnié suddenly started to galop. Mats E Djuse had to struggle to get Régnié to tror again and succeded after 40 m.
This is the positions after 500m. Elros, Fitz Of Depression, Way Out, Leroux, Brillant Diamant, Régnié, Jolly Wardrobe, Blue Fist.
The leader got disturbed by something and Fitz Of Depression took the lead rather easily. Blue Fist suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.
Elros looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Way Out gallopped for 40 m.
Elros sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Leroux showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
Elros sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Winner of todays race was Elros. Way Out came in second. Brillant Diamant became third.
