The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Scarlet Crystal could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Steel Rocket sprinted to the front.




Steel Rocket was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Lone Motor was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Steel Rocket today. It continued in the lead. Amber Glitter started to gallop after 1500m and Mikael Å Linderoth had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Scarlet Crystal seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Scarlet Crystal sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Bonnie Light galoped way to long and was disqualified.




King Keallach won. Steel Rocket came in second. Scarlet Crystal caught third place.
