It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stretching Hollywood was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Bouncin Bubble, Come Hide, Travelling Thinker, Stretching Hollywood, Impatient Garden, Petite Fleur, Frosty Thought, . A bird flew just in front of Frosty Thought who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Bouncin Bubble clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Bouncin Bubble today. It continued in the lead.



Frosty Thought galloped way to long and was disqualified. Travelling Thinker litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Stretching Hollywood won the race after a spectacular finish.
